Before you begin

Prepare the three essentials.

Complete the Meta setup once, then use the casting software whenever you want instructors or learners to follow a session outside the headset.

Casting computer

Use the computer where the SprayVerse offline casting software will be installed.

Compatible cable

Connect the Meta Quest headset to the casting computer using your link or casting cable.

Developer Mode

Create a Meta organization and enable Developer Mode for the selected Quest headset.

Stage 01 · Meta account

Create your organization.

Visit the Meta developer dashboard, sign in with the Meta account used by the headset, secure the account, and create an organization.

Select the option to continue using the email address for the Meta account.

Sign in to Meta

Log in with the Meta account associated with the Quest headset.

Verify the account

Complete Meta’s account verification and two-factor authentication steps.

Create an organization

Select the option to create a new developer organization.

Submit the name

Enter your organization name and submit it to complete this stage.

Stage 02 · Horizon mobile app

Enable Developer Mode.

Open the Meta Horizon mobile app, select the headset you will use, and enable Developer Mode from the device settings.

Enable Developer Mode

Stage 03 · Start casting

Install, connect, and present.

Once Developer Mode is enabled, install the casting application, connect the headset, and select the viewing format that suits your display.

  1. 01 Download and install the casting software.
  2. 02 Select Create Shortcut during installation for quick desktop access.
  3. 03 Connect the Meta Quest headset and launch the application.
  4. 04 Select Cropped (16:9) for a full-screen presentation view.

Recommended display mode

Cropped 16:9

Choose Cropped (16:9) instead of Original (1:1) when you want the cast view to fill a widescreen display.
