Toyota USA Adopting VR Training for new Trainees
Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana (TMMI) is adopting the use of virtual reality for the development of their new trainees in skills such as spray painting. TMMI training facility is equipped with multiple SprayVerse VR spray painting simulators being used for early learning.
Eddie Gerlach, Top Trainer from Human Resource Organizational Development at TMMI, said, “We utilize the SprayVerse VR simulator for new team members that are starting to work at Toyota. This has been utilized for ages 19 up through to 67. SprayVerse is a head start for them as part of their specialty training at Toyota”.
